Milosh Perovitch – Johns Hopkins Travel Grant Announcement

Milosh Perovich was a Yugoslav physician who spent several years of his academic career in the Department of Radiology at Johns Hopkins Medical Institution in the 1960’s and 1970’s. Upon his death in 2006, he bequeathed a modest sum of money to the Neuroradiology Division of JHMI. The annual interest on this money amounts to about $10,000 per year and the JHMI neuroradiology division has, in deference to Dr. Perovich’s close ties to Europe, created reverse sabbaticals to Europeans willing to visit our Division for a period from 2-4 weeks, depending upon the visitor’s budgetary constraints. The goal of the visit is to exchange knowledge and develop collaborations. The stipend would be used to defray the visitors’ expenses for the month as a travel grant. Expenses above this allotted amount would have to be covered by the grantee. Continue reading Milosh Perovitch – Johns Hopkins Travel Grant Announcement
